The American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery (ASLMS) announced the awardees for their 2014 Student Research Grants. Four awards were given, and I am happy to report that both Ryan Farraro and Caitlin Regan were two of the winners. During the one-year funding period, Ryan will develop a new handheld device designed to image blood flow in premature infants, and Caitlin will develop a device designed to assess the presence of blood flow in teeth. Congratulations Ryan and Caitlin!
